1LP - LOSER edition on limited coloured vinyl

Sub Pop debut by TV On The Radio singer, accomplished solo musician, animator ("Celebrity Deathmatch") and actor ("Marriage Story", "Spider-Man: Homecoming") Tunde Adebimpe.

For the last 24 years, Adebimpe has largely been known as the co-founder, co-vocalist and principal songwriter for TV On The Radio. The mostly-black art-rock band triumphed through two decades of volatile cultural change to become one of the most beloved, enduring, and influential groups from New York City's early-2000s rock scene. Though Tunde's poetic songwriting and towering vocals are central to TV On The Radio, the band will always be a collaboration between a group of musicians.

His first-ever solo album, "Thee Black Boltz", is not a TV On The Radio album. But the excitement of doing something on his own ignited a similar spark in Tunde as the early TV On The Radio days. The songwriting process is the same, but without his TVOTR bandmates Tunde "didn't have that scaffolding to hang on. That was both terrifying and exhilarating". "Thee Black Boltz" is a powerful, inspired, and inspiring indie-rock album that grasps for small moments of joy amidst the dissonance and sadness of personal grief and social upheaval.

Great book
Format: Paperback
This is very similar to Panel Two, which I bought because of certain comic book writers that I enjoyed. Panel One is basically the same, which provide examples and even so "how to's" and "why's that" type of information.

I love this book. If you are interested in how comics are made do yourself a favor. Also pick up the WIll Eisner textbook trilogy.

Seeing the Creative Process for Graphic Novels
Format: Paperback
This is a fascinating look at the early creative processes writers do when they make scripts for graphic novels. The only down side to this book is it doesn't show any comparison between the scripts and the final product. I suppose that's part of the fun of this book is that you have to imagine the graphics just like the original artists did.
